Seborrheic keratosis is a non-cancerous skin growth that appears as waxy, wart-like lesions ranging in color from light tan to dark brown or black. These growths often have a stuck-on appearance and can vary in size.

Seborrheic keratosis is common in middle-aged and older adults. While generally harmless, these lesions can be itchy or irritating. Although they don't require treatment, some individuals may choose to have them removed for cosmetic reasons.

Co2 laser ablation is a highly effective procedure for removing benign skin lesions. During the treatment, a focused laser beam is used to precisely vaporize the targeted lesion, minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue. This method offers several advantages, including reduced bleeding and a lower risk of infection. Following the procedure, patients typically experience minimal discomfort. Mild swelling and redness may occur initially, but these symptoms gradually subside. It's crucial for patients to adhere to post-procedure care instructions, such as keeping the treated area clean and protected from sun exposure, to optimize healing and minimize downtime.
